How To Properly Light The Tortilla Booth

Properly lighting a 360 booth to create the best experience for your event’s needs can be intimidating. This guide takes out the guesswork, so you can focus on making your event the best it can be.

Step One

Set Up Tortilla

When getting ready to light your Tortilla Booth, it is important to first set up and make sure you have enough room. The Tortilla Booth needs a Safety Diameter of 13’ (4m) measured from the center of the platform to make sure guests are safely out of range of the arm.

Likewise, lights should be set up no closer than 6” (150mm) from the Safety Diameter.

Step Two

Position The Lights

We highly recommend using at least 4 lights, setting them up in a square formation.

To light the Tortilla Booth:

  1. Confirm there is enough space around Tortilla and adequate outlets available

  2. Set up the four light stands in a triangular formation around the Tortilla Booth

  3. Adjust the brightness of the lights as needed

  4. Take test captures to verify there are no intense bright spots or intense shadows
