What Are Capture Modes?
Capture modes are different options you can provide to guests when they use Salsa. There are four capture modes and one gallery mode to choose from:
All modes – except for Gallery and Sharing Station – are available for events ran on the Salsa iOS app and Virtual Booth.
What To Know
Photo
Photos are the classic photo booth capture mode. Photos can be captured as either a single image or as a collection of up to four photos within a single Photo Template.
Photos can also be printed using AirPrint.

Boomerang
Boomerangs – one of the most popular modes – is a type of short, video capture mode that plays forward and backwards in a loop.

GIF
GIFs are a short video capture mode created by taking a series of still photos and combining them together to create an animated capture.

What To Know
Video
Videos are a capture mode that allows for recordings up to 120 second long.
Video mode supports audio recordings, as well, when using a supported Bluetooth microphone for events ran on the Salsa iOS app or with guests’ device microphone in Virtual Booth events.

Gallery
The Gallery is unique as it is not a capture mode, but an option for guests that allows them to view all previous captures taken at the event to share.
Gallery mode can also be used as a way to print captures after an event.

Sharing Station
Sharing Station is a mode for the Salsa iOS app which turns the entire iPad into a dedicated app for sharing captures from an event.
The Sharing Station can be used to display captures from an other Salsa booth, images and videos synced from a Dropbox folder, a Virtual Booth event, or even another photo booth.
