What Is an Event Interface?
The Event Interface determines the look, feel, and overall guest experience of the event by displaying a set of specifically designed screens.
QuesOS comes preloaded with large collection of Event Interfaces to choose from, each with its own style, fonts, and displayed mode selections so that you can select one that works best for your event.
Event Interfaces consist of 7 screens throughout the capture session:
Main Menu
Pre Show
Post Show
Post Share
Countdown Background
Loading Video
Preview Background
You won’t need to worry about remembering these, as the preloaded interfaces take care of it all.
However, if you want to make a more customized guest experience, you can create your your own custom interface by uploading a set of JPG or PNG images, and/or MP4s to these screens in QuesOS’ Custom Interface Builder.
How To
Change Your Event Interface
To change your event’s Interface:
Launch QuesOS
Select an event or create a new event
Tap Interface Editor
Tap the Interface you want to use for your event
The new Event Interface should now be applied. Depending on the selected Interface, you may need to change the type and location of the capture mode hotspots within the event’s Mode Editor.
What To Know
Hands Free Mode
Hands Free Mode allows guests to start a capture session without having to tap or touch Queso’s front screen.
When Hands Free Mode is turned on, the Main Menu screen is replaced with an instructional video for how to start a session and a camera live preview.
Note: All Event Interfaces, including Custom Interfaces, can be used with Hands Free Mode.
What To Know
Creating a Custom Interface
Queso also allows you to create Custom Interfaces for a fully branded experience from start to finish.
A Custom Interface can be as simple as a branded Tap to Start screen, or for a more complete experience, a customized screen for each step in the capture session experience.
