Prevent Guests From Leaving The Salsa iOS App
Guided Access can be used to prevent guests from exiting the Salsa iOS app, keeping your event going and your information secure.
Guided Access is best used along with an Event Passcode which prevents guests from ending the event.
Step One
Turn On Guided Access In The Settings App
The Guided Access feature on iOS allows you to limit the iPad to one app and allows you to control which features are available.
To use Guided Access it first needs to be turned on within the Settings app.
To turn on Guided Access:
Open the Settings app
Tap Accessibility
Tap Guided Access
Toggle on Guided Access
Toggle on Accessibility Shortcut
Tap Passcode Settings then Set Guided Access Passcode
Set the Guided Access passcode
Once turned on, Guided Access can be activated while in the Salsa iOS app by triple clicking the Top Button (or Home Button on older iPad models).
Step Two
Activate Guided Access While In The Salsa iOS App
With Guided Access turned on, the next step is to activate it while in the Salsa iOS app. This can be done at any time while in the app.
To activate Guided Access:
Open the Salsa iOS App
Triple click the Top Button (or Home Button on older iPad models)
Tap Start in the top right corner
Set a passcode if one hasn’t been set already
To exit Guided Access:
Triple click the Top Button (or Home Button on older iPad models)
Enter in Guided Access passcode
Tap End in the top left corner
