Salsa Assembly Guide-Written Instructions
Learn how to properly set up your Salsa booth as the foundation to running amazing events.
Step one
Preparing Your iPad
Step Two
Install the iPad into the Salsa Head
Using the included Philips screwdriver, remove the four screws from the Salsa faceplate, and remove the faceplate
Plug the power cable in to the iPad and place it inside the Salsa head unit
Place the faceplate back onto Salsa and screw it into place
Note: Install the screws in a cross pattern (top left, bottom right, top right, bottom left) and make sure not to over tighten the screws.
IMPORTANT: Do not use power tools when screwing in the face plate.
Salsa comes with the 12.9" 3rd/4th Generation iPad Pro faceplate pre-installed. You can purchase an alternative faceplate here if you have a different iPad.
Step Three
Assembling Booth Base Plate and Poles
Place base plate with longer half facing away from the backdrop
Run the DC extension cable under base plate and through the hole (about two arms length)
Run the DC extension cable through the first pole and place it onto the base plate
Tighten both knobs at the same time to until they are finger tight
Slightly loosen the knobs to adjust them into an X shape, matching the sticker
Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for the second pole
Step Four
Attach the Salsa Head
Carefully lift the Salsa head and plug the DC extension cable into the bottom of the Salsa head
Tighten the screw around the end of the DC extension cable to secure it into place
Place the Salsa head on top of the pole
Tighten the two knobs at the same time until it is securely in place
Loosen the tilt lever on the back of the Salsa head to adjust the tilt
Tighten the tilt lever once you have adjusted it to your needs
Step Five
Connecting Power
Connect the other end of the DC extension cable into the power supply
Plug the AC power cable into the power supply
Plug the AC power cable into a wall outlet
Important: Always have an iPad inserted before turning the booth on!
Please note your warranty will be void if Salsa is powered on without an iPad or the insert installed.
You can also use the cardboard insert instead of the iPad. Don’t throw this away!
